Sharon Oliver has been involved in marketing and communications for over 20 years. She has worked as a graphic designer, creative director, copywriter, production manager and account manager.
From 1994-2005, Oliver worked for one of Denver’s largest public relations firms that specialized in multicultural communications, as Vice President of Creative Services and Business Finance.
She has developed strategic marketing campaigns and created materials for clients including IBM, Denver Water, Hewlett-Packard, Littleton Chorale, Denver Housing Authority, Lakewood Housing Authority, the City of Denver, RTD, Denver Health, and DaimlerChrysler.
Oliver was crucial in developing an RTD advertising campaign targeted at Latina women to increase ridership. She also headed up the team that produced the integrated campaign involving print, transit, radio, and television advertising.
Along with designing newsletters, annual reports, brochures and numerous other printed, outdoor and electronic pieces, she has also developed print ads for local and national publications.
She stays current with the latest design software and production techniques and has established relationships with print vendors across the country.
She received her bachelor of fine arts degree in Graphic Design and with minors in Advertising, Journalism and Art History from Oklahoma State University in 1988.
